Bottle return points in Malta & Gozo

Your usual return locations, saved on your phone

Bottle Return Points is a free, independent mobile helper for people returning beverage containers in Malta and Gozo. Find your regular BCRS machine locations by locality, shop or road, save your own list, and open directions when you need them.

What do the plastic, cans and glass statuses mean?

Each material is checked separately using reports from the public BCRS locator. Available means at least one relevant machine has a recent available report. Reports can change, and retailer opening hours still apply. Missing or old reports show Unknown.

How do I save a bottle return point?

Open this site on your phone, tap Add points, search a locality or road, and select the locations you use. Your choices stay on your phone in that browser. No account needed, and we don’t track your activity.

Can I use this as an iPhone or Android app?

Yes. Add Bottle Return Points to your Home Screen. On iPhone, open it in Safari and use Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android, open Chrome’s menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Your list remains handy offline, while machine reports need a connection.

An independent little helper, not affiliated with BCRS Malta. For collection rules, scheme information and the full return-point map, visit the official BCRS locator.

About the statuses

Reports come from the public BCRS locator. Plastic, cans and glass are checked separately. “Available” means at least one relevant machine is reporting available; it doesn’t guarantee the shop is open. Public opening hours still apply.

Reports older than 15 minutes, missing reports and connection failures show “Unknown”. We never keep live availability offline.

Your saved list

Saves only on your phone. No account needed. We don’t track your activity or use analytics or advertising. Only your chosen location IDs are kept in this browser’s LocalStorage; your saved list is never sent to our server. Clearing site data removes your selections.
